Event hosted by Sustainable Jamboree as part of its Energy Savers’ Scheme. Project supported by the Brisbane City Council through a Lord Mayor’s Sustainability Grant. Sustainable Jamboree is a not-for-profit volunteer based community group in the Jamboree Ward although anyone is welcome. It’s aimed at reducing our ecological footprint and promoting sustainability by working with schools, households and other organisations. We also influence government policy through advocacy.

About Anne
Responsible for Origin’s home energy efficiency services, for the past ten years, she has been directly involved in providing practical, easy to understand advice to over one million Australian energy consumers on how to wisely choose and use home appliances to maximise efforts to save money, energy and the environment. Servicing a customer base of over 3 million households in three different climate zones, she uses her wide network of sources to remain up to date on new trends in both energy saving technology and consumer habits. Due to the objective, impartial nature of her work, Anne is often asked to comment on home energy related issues and features regularly on television, radio and in press articles as well as speaking directly with customers when addressing public meetings or visiting them personally in their homes.
