We are a group of Brisbane locals concerned about the twin challenges of climate change and resource depletion. We are working to raise awareness of these issues and to promote practical change.
We focus on many areas necessary to build more sustainable communities including promoting local food and renewable energy, interacting with and lobbing government, educating the public about pathways to more sustainable living and creating stronger more resilient communities.
We meet on the third Wednesday of the month at Uniting Church Hall - Kenmore at 7.30 pm. Kenmore District TT acts not just in Kenmore, but also across the whole of the Brisbane city council Pullenvale ward and is part of a growing global network of transition towns with links across Brisbane and the sunshine coast.
